Responsibilities:

Monitor all public and common areas on Island Estates for appropriate aesthetics
Contact the City of Clearwater to assist with beautification of public areas
Make recommendations to the Board of Directors for aesthetic improvements to the community
Coordinate work done in the public and common areas of Island Estates
Prepare & submit articles of news and interest for the Island Estates Newsletter

Government Liaison/Code & Deed
Volunteer Needed

Responsibilities:

Perform duties of the President in the absence of the President
Serve as the Government Liaison Officer
Become familiar with the code & deed restrictions of Island Estates & the NCOD
Document any complaints or issues of Island Estates residents & report them to the Board
A liaison with the City of Clearwater Code & Deed Dept. to resolve issues within Island Estates
Ensure all committee members have copies of the Code & Deed restrictions and of the NCOD for reference
Prepare & submit articles of news and interest for the Island Estates Newsletter

Membership Committee

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records including names, addresses (and alternate address), phone numbers and email address
Solicit new members
Send yearly invoices for renewal memberships
Coordinate with Welcome volunteer to welcome new members
Provide membership records to Board as needed
Prepare & submit articles of news and interest for the Island Estates Newsletter

Newsletter Committee

Coordinate the promotion of Island Estates activities
Convey all social & community activities sponsored by IECA to the Newsletter Committee
Assist in coordinating information, format, design, pricing & distribution of the IECA Directory
Submit articles of news and interest for the Island Estates Newsletter and local newspapers

Neighborhood Watch Committee

Appoint a neighbor on each street in Island Estates to be “Block Captain”
Obtain reports from committee members or liaisons about any unusual activities
Obtain the Clearwater Policy Activity report for Island Estates for publication on the IECA website
Make recommendations to the Board that will improve security & safety of the community
Submit articles of news and interest for the Island Estates Newsletter
